Vincent Kuczinski, a renowned perfumer with over 40 years of experience, launched his academic journey at the College of Staten Island/CUNY, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from 1982 to 1988. He further advanced his education at St. John's University's Peter J. Tobin College of Business, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Executive Management between 1999 and 2001.
Career Trajectory in the Fragrance Industry
Kuczinski's professional odyssey in fragrance creation began in 1977 at International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF). During his 14-year tenure, he crafted scents for major clients within the Fine Fragrance group in New York, rising to the role of Vice President and Senior Perfumer.
In 1994, he joined Bush Boake Allen US as Vice President and Chief Perfumer, overseeing a fragrance team of over 30 professionals—including R&D and analytical divisions—while continuing to design fragrances for clients.
From 1996 to 2002, Kuczinski served as Vice President and Director of Fine Fragrance Creation at Takasago International, managing the Fine Fragrance Group in Rockleigh and creating signature scents for leading global brands in the luxury fragrance sector.
He later spent five years at Symrise developing fragrances for key clients in the Beauty Care segment, followed by a role at Ungerer (2007–2011) as Vice President and Senior Perfumer, where he catered to all clients within the Fragrance Division. Since 2011, he has held the position of Vice President and Senior Perfumer at Mane Fragrances, focusing on fine fragrance and body care creations for major international clients.
