He earned acclaim for his expertise in resurrecting iconic brands, including Lubin, Grès, Jean Patou, Worth, and Jean-Louis Scherrer. Notable creations for Lubin includeBlack Jade,Gin Fizz, andFigaro, while his work for Grès featuresCabotine FloralismeandMiss Cabaret.

  In his recent collaboration with the "phoenix brand" Le Galion, Fontaine unveiled three exceptional fragrances:Snob,Tubereuse, andEau Noble. These compositions have garnered international praise and can be found in esteemed retailers like Liberty.

  As an independent perfumer and fragrance archaeologist, Fontaine specializes in adapting legendary scents to contemporary standards, balancing the revival of classics with the innovation of modern accords. His inspiration draws from culinary arts, historical narratives, and a deep appreciation for classical music and baritone singing.

  Among his cherished olfactory notes are orris, rose, patchouli, sandalwood, and galbanum—testaments to his reverence for the rich tapestry of aromatic traditions. Beyond heritage restoration, Fontaine has created exclusive lines for brands like Lubin and Grès.
