Born into a second - generation American family of Syrian and Italian descent, Khoury's rich cultural background enriches her creative work. She initiated her fragrance journey at Norda (now part of Givaudan), where she sharpened her skills and nurtured her passion for scent creation. After five years, she joined the Estée Lauder Companies. Starting as an assistant product manager in fragrance development for Aramis and Estée Lauder, she soon began collaborating with Mrs. Estée Lauder on new fragrance creations.
Khoury's talent led to her appointment as senior vice president of corporate fragrance development worldwide in 1998.
