- Isabel Lee Perfumer:
Isabelle Lee has carved a remarkable niche in the fragrance industry. Starting her journey in 1993 as a perfumer’s lab technician at Takasago, she steadily climbed the ranks, gathering diverse experiences along the way. In 1994, she transitioned to become a fragrance evaluator at Fragrance Resources, covering a wide range of product categories. Her career took another significant turn in 1996 when she joined Bush Boake Allen, where she delved deep into environmental and hair care fragrances and explored new fragrance delivery technologies.
In 1998, Isabelle joined Quest International as a fragrance development manager, focusing on creative fine fragrance development. During her nine-year tenure there, she was promoted to vice president of fine fragrance development. In this role, she managed the New York fragrance development team and contributed to the company’s fine fragrance strategy.
In 2007, she made a major leap and took on a global role as the director of creative fragrance development and fragrance product innovation at Avon Products Inc. At Avon, she led the development of the company’s global fine fragrance initiatives, oversaw fragrance development for skin care and personal care, and was a key member of the fragrance category leadership team.
In 2012, Isabelle founded Ryan Fragrance Consulting, which offers fragrance development services to both fragrance houses and consumer brands. Her success can be attributed to her expertise in fine perfumery and personal care fragrances. She has a unique ability to translate trends into olfactive themes, backed by her research & development background and a passion for consumer insights.
Isabelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the State University College at Oneonta and a Master of Business Administration with a major in marketing from Long Island University, CW Post. Her educational foundation, combined with her extensive industry experience, positions her as a highly respected figure in the world of perfumery, continuously making an impact through her innovative work and strategic vision.
