Corinna Kuhnert is a remarkable figure in the world of perfumery. As the founder and perfumer of the German brand Aloha Senses, which she established in 2020, she has carved out a unique niche for herself.

Before delving into the world of perfumery, Corinna had a successful career in renowned architectural offices in Copenhagen and Berlin, holding a Master of Arts in Architecture. However, she decided to follow her heart and transitioned into the field of intuitive perception and psycho - spiritual healing, training hundreds of students alongside her husband Jörn.
The inspiration for Aloha Senses has its roots in Corinna's childhood. Her grandfather moved to Hawai'i in the 1970s, and at the age of nine, she visited the islands for the first time. Instantly, she felt a strong connection to Hawai'i. The intense scents of tropical flowers, the vivid colors of nature, and the intangible Aloha spirit left an indelible impression on her. The Aloha spirit, a Hawaiian philosophy of life centered around meeting others with love and respect, became the guiding principle for her brand.
In 2020, Corinna began her master's training as a perfumer with Mandy Aftel, a natural fragrance icon based in Berkeley, California, who has been the owner and nose of the world - renowned natural perfume line Aftelier for over 30 years. This training further honed Corinna's skills and deepened her understanding of natural perfumery.
Corinna's talent lies in her ability to create balanced, complex, and exceptional fragrance compositions. She has a "magical talent," as described, for blending natural ingredients to evoke a wide range of emotions and sensations. The perfumes under the Aloha Senses brand are designed to make the wearer smell amazing while also avoiding toxins and contributing to a sense of well - being by uplifting the mood. Each fragrance is carefully crafted in - house at their olfactory lab and produced by hand in small batches, with love and respect for the ingredients and the art of perfumery.
