As an accomplished bass player and guitarist, music holds a special place in her life. She draws an analogy between her perfumery creations and constructing the perfect band or symphony. Her approach is ever - evolving, always open to exploring all possibilities in ingredients, tools, and techniques. A passionate advocate for equality and diversity, she is a founding member of a committee for Black excellence at IFF.

One of her remarkable works is Parfums Quartana Soleil Invisible. This fragrance is part of the Les Potions d’Entéléchie collection, which delves into the healing energies of mother nature. The inspiration behind it came from Christina imagining bright sunlight beaming down from an invisible source above her head. It took about 7 years of refinement to perfect the formula. The fragrance opens with a spicy pink pepper and passion fruit blend, creating an unexpected yet captivating combination that envelopes the skin. The passion fruit note promotes a sense of happiness and well - being, while the lychee and tangerine add an exotic and uplifting touch. In the heart notes, vetiver, known for its stress - relieving properties, combines with orris root and rose essential oil, which not only enhance the aroma but also offer therapeutic benefits. The base notes, dominated by vetiver oil from Java and vanilla absolute from Madagascar, provide a warm, earthy, and calming finish.
