Masque is a perfume house established in Milan in 2012 by Riccardo Tedeschi and Alessandro Brun.
Driven by a deep fascination with perfumes and fine fragrances, the duo set out to strengthen their expertise by undertaking an educational programme in olfactory techniques. This comprehensive journey included studying authoritative reference books, attending industry seminars and specialized training courses, and dedicating countless late nights to rigorous, hands-on practice. Through this intensive effort, they gradually grew comfortable navigating the captivating realm of master perfumers ("noses") and premium raw materials. As they began to document their personal memories, they soon developed a collection of "scenes"—each capturing moments from their past, places they had visited, cherished friendships, love stories, profound feelings, instances of déjà vu, and recurring dreams.
Beyond their roles as mere "orchestra directors" of scent, they evolved into the playwrights and producers of a fragrant "opera." In the "acts" and "scenes" of this olfactory production, emerging talents—rising stars among the world’s artistic perfumers—would "don the mask" and bring their creative visions to life. It was in 2012 that Masque Fragranze officially came into being.
Since its inception, Masque has strived to meet the demands of even the most discerning customers, supported by two complementary brands and product lines: Masque Fragranze and Masque Cosmetics (launched in 2010).

As a relatively new player in the fragrance industry, Masque Milano’s earliest fragrance dates back to 2010, with its most recent creation released in 2024. The brand’s fragrances are the result of collaborations with a distinguished roster of perfumers, including Delphine Thierry, Julien Rasquinet, Bruno Jovanovic, Fanny Bal, Vanina Muracciole, Giuseppe Imprezzabile, Christian Carbonnel, Luca Maffei, Caroline Dumur, Cristiano Canali, Cécile Zarokian, Mackenzie Reilly, Alex Lee, Stephanie Bakouche, Christian Alori, Karine Chevallier, and Antoine Lie.
