While the House of Lolita Lempicka is now widely renowned for its perfumes, it originated in 1983 as a women's fashion line, shaped by themes of fairy tales, princesses, and the romantic sartorial styles of bygone eras. This was later followed by bridal designs and Lolita Bis, a line tailored to younger women.

In 1997, Lolita Lempicka unveiled its debut fragrance: the signature women's scentLolita Lempicka(now known asLolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum). Launched during a period when Thierry Mugler'sAngelhad already piqued consumer interest in gourmand fragrances, this complex blend—characterized as a floral-fruity-gourmand with prominent notes of licorice and sweet praline in its base—quickly became a bestseller. Housed in an exquisitely whimsical apple-shaped flacon, the fragrance propelled the brand's olfactory offerings to greater prominence than its fashion lines. The first men's fragrance,Lolita Lempicka Au Masculine, was introduced in 2000.

Since then, the brand has released a series of flankers and limited editions inspired by the original scent, alongside new perfumes that have gained acclaim for both their fragrance quality and stunning packaging. Lolita Lempicka fragrances are developed in partnership with the Amore Pacific Group.
