Annick Goutal was a pianist and model. It was during a collaboration with perfumers on a facial cream formulation that she discovered her true calling: perfume. By 1980, she was ready to launch her debut fragrance collection. In the mid-1980s, her company was acquired by the Taittinger Group, which was later purchased by Starwood Capital.
Annick Goutal passed away in 1999. Since then, her daughter Camille—for whom Annick had created a fragrance—has carried on her mother’s legacy, continuing to craft successful fragrances in partnership with perfumer Isabelle Doyen.
Designer Goutal boasts 79 perfumes in our fragrance database. The earliest was created in 1980, with the most recent addition dating to 2022. Goutal fragrances have been developed in collaboration with perfumers including Camille Goutal, Isabelle Doyen, Annick Goutal, Francis Camail, Mathieu Nardin, Julie Massé, Henri Sorsana, and Philippine Courtière.
