Founded in 1747, Parfumerie Galimard stands as one of France's earliest perfume houses. Jean de Galimard—Lord of Séranon and a member of the Perfumer Glovers' Corporation—supplied fragrances to the court of King Louis. The exceptional scents of the Côte d'Azur earned Grasse its title as the World Capital of Perfume, and by the late 18th century, the town had laid the groundwork for a thriving industry whose remarkable growth remains renowned.
In 1996, Galimard unlocked the final realm previously inaccessible to the public: the art of perfume creation, introduced through an exclusive workshop concept. A pioneer and leader in this domain, building on its highly successful experience in Grasse, Galimard expanded in 2007 with a Fragrance Studio nestled in the medieval charm of Eze-Village. Here, our seasoned, passionate perfumers and assistant perfumers share the secrets of this extraordinary craft, immersing visitors in the olfactory legacy of Jean de Galimard.
To this day, Galimard remains a fully family-owned and operated business, steeped in tradition yet embracing innovation. It infuses every moment with a profound love for perfume, refining this timeless art through the cultivation of novelty and the elevation of its endless creative potential.
Designer Galimard boasts 98 fragrances in our scent archive, with the earliest dating back to 1960 and the latest released in 2025. These fragrances were crafted in collaboration with esteemed perfumers Caroline de Boutiny, Yusuke Masuda, and Jacques Morel.
