Byredo, founded in 2006 by Ben Gorham in Stockholm, Sweden, is a luxury brand dedicated to craftsmanship, with all products meticulously made in Sweden. The current product line encompasses perfumes, home fragrances, body care essentials, and accessories. Gorham, born to an Indian mother and a French-Canadian father, grew up in Sweden and later in Canada. A former basketball player, he developed a profound fascination with scents during adolescence. After graduating from Stockholm's School of Arts, he crossed paths with perfumer Pierre Wulff, whose expertise would prove pivotal in transforming Gorham's concepts into aromatic realities.
Collaborating with renowned perfumers Olivia Giacobetti and Jérôme Epinette, Gorham draws on his personal olfactory memories and life experiences to craft Byredo's predominantly unisex fragrances. Each scent is inspired by places, emotions, or specific aromas—for example,Palermofor women, inspired by Sicily's vibrant city, andBal d’Afrique, which captures the 1920s Parisian obsession with African culture, art, and music.
Byredo's fragrances thrive on Gorham's innovative approach: he keeps formulas minimalist, avoiding clashing notes. Believing in the purpose of fewer, intentional accords, he prioritizes scents that resonate with clarity and depth.

Our fragrance base features 81 Byredo perfumes. As a relatively young brand, its earliest edition debuted in 2008, with the latest launched in 2025.
