ALGHABRA PARFUMS is a heartfelt tribute to Damascus’ Old City, famously known as "The City Of Jasmine." It forges a connection to the authentic allure of ancient, historic cities through the celebration of art, while also paying homage toMohammed Khair Alghabra—a pioneering "Attar" and one of the first master perfumers in the Middle East.
An independent niche perfume house, ALGHABRA was born in 1973 in the very heart of Old Damascus—one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities. In the Arab world, Damascus is affectionately called "ash-Sham," and it has long earned its nickname as "The City Of Jasmine."
The brand channels its reverence for the city’s genuine beauty and warm spirit through artistic expression.
Alghabra Parfums boasts a collection of 20 fragrances in its portfolio. Though rooted in a rich legacy, it presents itself as a contemporary fragrance brand: its earliest creation dates back to 2018, with the latest addition unveiled in 2024. These scents are the result of collaborations with esteemed perfumers Meltem Akdag, Jorge Lee, and Cem Çetinkaya.
