The renowned chypre-green fragrance Silences by Jacomo first made its debut in 1978. It was reissued in 2004, and in 2012, a newly reimagined version—Jacomo Silences Eau de Parfum Sublime—was introduced. This updated iteration was crafted by perfumer Serge Majoullier of Mane.
The scent preserves its elegant, ladylike essence, blending green, floral, and woody notes against a soft powdery backdrop. It strikes a balance between freshness, sophistication, and modernity. The top notes open with green galbanum, blackcurrant bud, and aldehydes, accented by a subtle pear accord. At its heart lies a floral trio: Damask rose, Moroccan iris, and narcissus. The base is anchored by warm woody and musky undertones.
The bottle retains the original round silhouette and black hue, with its typography refreshed and given a contemporary update. Jacomo Silences Eau de Parfum Sublime is available in 50 ml and 100 ml Eau de Parfum concentrations.
