Aerin Lauder, granddaughter of Estée Lauder, has chosen to pay tribute to her grandmother’s legacy by crafting a new perfume, inspired byPrivate Collection—a fragrance created in the early 1970s exclusively for Estée Lauder’s personal use. The brand is gearing up to launchPrivate Collection Tuberose Gardeniaat the end of summer 2007.
The scent’s composition centers on two flowers that held special significance for Estée Lauder: gardenia and tuberose. These are complemented by notes of orange blossom, jasmine, and white lily. The top notes feature neroli, lilac, and rosewood, while the base is rounded out with carnation and Bourbon vanilla. Developed under Aerin Lauder’s creative vision, the perfume was crafted by master perfumers from Firmenich.
