Oscar is the debut fragrance from Oscar de la Renta, crafted by Jean-Louis Sieuzac in 1977. A timeless, floral scent with a subtly sharp character, it blends aromatic notes of lavender, rosemary, and carnation with a warm, sweet, powdery, and musky base.
The top notes feature orange blossom, basil, coriander, galbanum, peach, and gardenia.

二.Cons
1.The reformulation is different from the original scent
2.The fragrance may be too old-fashioned for some people
3.Not as glorious as the original bottle design
4.Has a strong woody and spicy scent for some time before drying down to be sweet and inoffensive
5.The reformulated version has nothing in common with the old formula of the fragrance.
6.The reformulated version is powdery and sickening
7.The reformulation smells like aged Bal A Versailles
8.The coldness of the fragrance could be off-putting
At its heart, the composition unfolds with ylang-ylang, jasmine, tuberose, rose, rosemary, cyclamen, lavender, and orchid. The base notes include opoponax, carnation, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, lavender, and amber. In 1978, the fragrance was honored with the FiFi Award.
The bottle was designed by Serge Mansau. In 2007, Oscar celebrated its 30th anniversary, marked by the release of a limited-edition, commemorative version presented in an exquisite bottle.
