Versace is introducing a new men’s fragrance,Eros—a scent deeply rooted in Greek mythology. Designed to embody unrestrained passion and accentuate desire, the fragrance takes its name from Eros, the Greek god of love and son of Aphrodite. This nod to ancient Greece aligns with the brand’s heritage: since Gianni Versace founded the fashion empire, Greek motifs have been central to its identity—from the Medusa emblem (a symbol of power and allure) adorning countless products to the design of the newErosflacon.
Erosmarks Versace’s first men’s fragrance launch in five years, curated by Donatella Versace to embody the brand’s essence: timeless design, quality, and enduring appeal. “Erosis truly the DNA of the House of Versace,” she explains. “The Greek theme evokes ancient Greece, antiquities, and mythology, while the turquoise color represents the Mediterranean. That is Versace!”
