The designer duo Dolce & Gabbana unveiled their debut fragrance, Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme, in 1992, with its masculine counterpart, Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme, following in 1994. Boasting a richly floral profile for the feminine edition and an aromatic-fougere character for the masculine one, this perfume pair became iconic of the 1990s. In 2012, the designers opted to "return to their roots" by reintroducing the two fragrances.
"It’s less of a reissue and more of a refinement," Gabbana told WWD magazine. "We’ve made slight adjustments to the bottles... Since the 1990s, the brand has evolved — Domenico and I were much younger back then, and we’ve truly grown and matured a great deal."
