Dior Launches New Fragrance Sauvage
Dior has unveiled its new fragrance, Sauvage— a name that traces its roots to the house’s 1966 scentEau Sauvage, though the two fragrances belong to distinct collections. Sauvage draws inspiration from untamed, wide-open landscapes: think vast blue skies stretching over rocky terrains, baked warm under the desert sun.

This creation is the work of François Demachy, Dior’s in-house perfumer. The fragrance is described as strikingly fresh, while also carrying a raw, noble character. Its formulation is said to be centered around carefully curated natural ingredients: bright, zesty top notes of Calabrian bergamot blend with ambroxan—derived from rare ambergris—leaving behind a rich, woody dry-down.
Dior Sauvage made its debut in September 2015, with actor Johnny Depp as its brand ambassador. It is available as an Eau de Toilette in two sizes: 60 ml and 100 ml.
