Celine Verleure is the visionary behind a new niche perfume line. Boasting extensive experience in the fragrance industry, she first launched a blog dedicated to exploring "uncreated scents"—a platform where she sought inspiration and ideas from her readers. It was through this collaborative exchange that the Olfactive Studio line came to life.
Olfactive Studio is a unique fusion of modern art photography and perfumery, two mediums that share a profound ability to capture a moment and its surrounding atmosphere. As described, it is "an encounter between contemporary artistic photography and perfumery; between the eye and the nose... existing at the crossroads of a photographic studio and a perfume design studio."
The inaugural trio of fragrances in the collection draws inspiration from classic photographic themes: self-portraiture, the darkroom, and still life. These concepts were artfully translated into the scents Autoportrait, Chambre Noire, and Still Life.
Celine Verleure’s creative process unfolded in a deliberate sequence: she first conceived the perfume names, then entrusted three distinct photographers to interpret these names through their lens. The resulting images, in turn, served as the muse for perfumers tasked with crafting each fragrance.

For Autoportrait, Luc Lapotre’s photography became the catalyst for Nathalie Lorson’s creative vision. Described as an intimate, warm, and deeply personal scent—one to be worn for oneself—it features a rich blend of woody notes, spices, and balms.
