Chanel is set to launch its latest men’s fragrance,Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, welcoming it into the renowned Allure Homme collection. The inaugural fragrance of this line made its debut back in 1999, and in the years since, several beloved iterations have graced the market—including Allure Homme Eau Fraichissante Pour l’Été, Allure Homme Edition Blanche, Allure Homme Sport, and Allure Homme Sport Cologne Sport.
Crafting this new Chanel creation is master perfumer Jacques Polge, who has curated a distinctive blend defined by musky undertones, zesty spices, invigorating aromatic freshness, and robust, masculine woody notes. For a crisp, herbal coolness, the fragrance features Sicilian mandarin, mint, cypress, and clary sage. Its bright, tangy edge comes from a subtle touch of black pepper, while its bold woody backbone—rooted in cedar and New Caledonian sandalwood—is softened and enriched by the warmth of sensual musk and creamy tonka beans. This “extreme” composition shines in its seamless fusion of freshness, tang, sensuality, sharpness, and strength.
The flacon of the new fragrance retains the signature shape of previous Chanel Allure Homme editions, finished in a deep hue. A sleek silver ring adorns the stopper, engraved with the brand’s name, while red and white lettering on the dark bottle adds a dynamic, energetic touch. Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme will be available in 50ml and 100ml Eau Extreme concentrations.
Fronting the fragrance’s advertising campaign is professional surfer Danny Fuller, while the campaign’s video clips—released by Chanel in multiple versions—were directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Kathryn Bigalow.
